Continuing Education Units Credit/Transcripts
Courses numbered 400-499 or otherwise indicated offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and are graded as CR/NC (Credit-No Credit) grades.
Grades are posted after completion of each course throughout the term. CEUs are not applicable to a degree program but are recognized nationally to document the quality and duration of coursework from a completed course on an official transcript. A CEU is generally definied as being equal to 10 class hours. A record of CEUs earned is maintained in the SJSU Professional Development Records Office and a transcript is available upon request. In order to receive credit for a course, please abide by the following guideline.
CR = Credit. All fees are paid and you have completed all course requirements including 80 percent attendance.
NC = No Credit. The standard requirements were not met and/or the course requirements were not completed.
